Celebrate The Start Of Summer With Absolut’s Midsommar Festival

These magnificent Midsommar celebrations will welcome the summer sun (hopefully).

June 21st marks the official start of summer, and we reckon this is a jolly good excuse to celebrate. Luckily, Absolut have had the same idea, and they’re launching ten days of wonderful events to welcome our favourite season to town – with a seriously Swedish twist. Sweden does Midsommar better than anyone else on earth, so who better to show us how to celebrate summer?

Midsommar

The festivities kick off with the Absolut Midsommar Banquet, tonight at Last Days of Shoreditch. A three-course Swedish feast will be followed by music and dancing in a fabulously floral venue. It’s suitably smashing way to launch the summer season, and you can get free entry to the afterparty (plus a free welcome cocktail) if you pick up a free Midsommar Festival Pass from DrinkUp.London.

You’ll want to hold on to that pass, because it will come in very handy during the ten days of Midsommar. This magic pass will tell you where your nearest bar is, discover their signature drink, and let you buy a range of Absolut cocktails for just £6. Also, you can use it as much as you please over the full ten days. A pretty nifty treat, if you ask us.

Midsommar

Midsommar continues at Last Days of Shoreditch with a series of crafty workshops. Whether you’re hoping to whip up delicious cocktails, make yourself a beautiful flower crown, or upcycle old Absolut bottles, you’ll be well catered for here. Midsommar is a time for feasting, friends, and fun – so grab yourself a pass and get celebrating. Skål!
